The SDA is a bidirectional serial data input/output pin for a 2-wire slave device and is used to transfer data into and out of the device. It receives device address, opcode, wiper register address and data sent from an 2-wire master at the rising edge of the serial clock SCL, and it shifts out data after each falling edge of the serial clock SCL.

Features
Devices in the D2006 family (D2006/D200685E/ D2006E/D200688E/D200690E/D2006) are 15kV ESD-protected, +3.3V, low-power transceivers for RS-485 and RS-422 communications. Each device con- tains one driver and one receiver. The D2006 and D200688E feature slew-rate-limited drivers that minimize EMI and reduce reflections caused by improperly termi- nated cables, allowing error-free data transmission at data rates up to 250kbps. The partially slew-rate-limited D2006E transmits up to 2.5Mbps. The D200685E, D200690E, and D2006 transmit at up to 12Mbps.
